We would like to first THANK YOU for taking the interest in our dancing organization. CDDC is a dance team striving to offer our future leaders a chance to be a part of something they love and also to be a part of a family. We work on teaching them different styles of dancing such as majorette, hip-hop, lyrical, tap, jazz, and step just to name a few. CDDC is a Competitive dance team which consist of girls/boys in Concord and surrounding areas between the ages of 5-18 years old. CDDC was established in order to help guide our youth become community leaders of tomorrow.
Our dancers are geared toward the love of dance, rather than the rewards that dance can bring. We encourage our dancers to always concentrate on performing for their own gain because no matter what you face out there in the world, in the end, you have to rely on self. It is vital that our dancers do not ever see themselves in anyway better than any other dancer, as we are all after the same common goal. We do not want, nor encourage, nor tolerate unwarranted competition within the studio.
We, as coaches, put our faith, whole heartedly, in God and our students. Each season, we hope that as the months go by they learn to share their feelings and advocate for themselves, if they don't do so already. We push to ensure that every dance session is an atmosphere of acceptance and excitement. The phrase, “I CAN'T” is not allowed in our vocabulary or in our studio, for that matter; therefore, mistakes are to be expected but are accepted. Our dancers can do anything and as long as they believe this as well, they will be successful. A part of our main goal to instill this drive and the love of dance in ALL of our students.
Lastly, dance is intended to be both fun and challenging. So, we try to make sure at every practice we have fun, we laugh, but also work very hard. Our dancers are expected to give 150% in every class because nothing less will be tolerated. A positive attitude is required!! The coaches and staff at Dancing Diamonds of Concord hope that by sharing with you our goals, you will now have a better understanding of what we desire this team to be. We hope that with every year of growth, we prove it to be a wonderful experience for you and your child.
